“Uv’yom Hashabbat” is a traditional melody heard by Cantor Naphtali Herstik from his father Moshe Herstik. In honor of Cantor Naphtali’s birthday, and the Torah portion “Tzav” (which discusses sacrifices), we sang this piece at Shabbat services on March 22. It is arranged by Raymond Goldstein, performed in this clip by Cantor Mo Glazman and members of the Emanu-El choir, conducted by Danny Beckwith.
