We offer introductory membership rates to young professionals in their 20s and 30s that include tickets for the High Holy Days. First-year rates range from $180 for one person under age 30 to $500 for one person between 35 and 39. We also have special rates for two-adult households in this age group.*

Second Year and Following

Associate Members (Under age 30)

We offer Associate Memberships for individuals and couples between the ages of 21 and 29. Associate Membership at Temple Emanu-El offers full membership benefits; all individual Associate Memberships include one ticket for High Holy Days Services, and all Two-Adult Household Memberships include two tickets.

Young Members (Ages 30 – 34)

As the Associate Membership concludes at age 30, dues gradually increase over five years, as households 35 years and older are billed at the full dues amount. Below, please find this year’s schedule. If you have any questions, please contact the Membership Office at 212-507-9514.

To help maintain the highest standard of professional support and a state-of-the-art infrastructure, for your safety, young members also are asked to pay a security fee of $90 for a single person household and $115 for a 2+ person household.

Financial means should never be a barrier to membership, so please contact the Membership Department if you need to make special payment arrangements or to request a reduction in dues.

*Please note that children of current temple members may remain on their parents’ membership until age 25, at which point we invite them to join as young professionals.
