Center for Interfaith Dialogue: Bach Vespers Magnificat
Join us as we visit our neighbors on the west side for this special performance at Holy Trinity, followed by reception graciously hosted by Head Pastor, Timothy Wiseman, and friends of the church and featuring our own Rabbi Sarah Reines. Please note: tickets to the reception are currently sold out, but performance tickets are still available. To be added to the waiting list for the reception, please email .
The Sunday evening Bach Vespers service is a longstanding tradition at Holy Trinity now in its 57th Season, offering the community a place to hear the greatest works of Johann Sebastian Bach in the environment for which they were written.
Presented by candlelight in the format of a Lutheran liturgical service of evening prayer, Bach Vespers is guided by the vision of Reverend Timothy Weisman who presides, Bach Vespers Director Robby Meese and Austin Philemon, Director of Music. Pastor Tim’s historically informed liturgy and sermons frame the music selections and Austin’s mastery of the Fritts Opus 16 organ offers a dynamic interpretation of J.S. Bach’s greatest works for organ and keyboard.
