All are welcome to join in a discussion of the popular and poignant memoir, When Breath Becomes Air, by Paul Kalanithi. His personal journey from neurosurgeon to patient leaves us with important lessons on identity, illness and courage, and the legacy each of us leaves. The book is available through the Temple Emanu-El Stettenheim Library E-Book program. Members of the What Matters initiative are always available to answer questions about how to fill out a Health Care Proxy and help you to identify questions you should consider. Come share your thoughts and learn more about how you can become an advocate for your own health. Please email us with questions or to RSVP — a link will be sent to all registrants prior to the event.
