Shabbat Service Honoring Rabbi Rachel Gross-Prinz and the Sunset Service Readers Panel

Please join us on this special Shabbat evening to express our gratitude to Rabbi Rachel Gross-Prinz for her year of devoted service to our congregation. Rabbi Gross-Prinz has departed Temple Emanu-El to assume her new role in the admissions and recruitment department of the Hebrew Union College-Jewish Institute of Religion.

We will also celebrate our Readers Panel on the 75th Anniversary of our Sunset Service. Thanks to their dedication, worship has taken place at Temple Emanu-El every day since the panel’s founding, including during these most challenging last seven months. We look forward to honoring them.

Temple Emanu-El welcomes up to 100 temple members to join us for Friday night services in our Fifth Avenue Sanctuary. Please select the time slot that you would like to arrive for services. Based on CDC and DOH guidance, anyone considered at high-risk for an adverse reaction to COVID, due to age or health status, should not attend services in person and are encouraged to participate via livestream. Anyone who joins us in person is expected to wear a mask at all times and observe social distancing of at least 6 feet. Attendees MUST register by Wednesday, October 28.

In order to protect our community from the spread of COVID-19, Temple Emanu-El broadcasts upcoming services in real-time on both Facebook and our website’s broadcast page.
