      • I.M. Wise Hall

All Temple families and friends are welcome to join us for our Purim festivities!

We will start in the Fifth Avenue Sanctuary for our Purim Shpiel where we open the magical text of the Megillah and the grand doors of Shushan for the classic tale of Good vs. Evil, King vs. Queen and Good Joke vs. Bad Joke. Captain Hamantashen, played by Rabbi Amy Ehrlich, lets us in on the plots, shenanigans and sorcery afoot in Esther’s quest to save the kingdom.

Then, we will celebrate the victory with magic, games, crafts, food and more at our annual Purim Carnival in Wise Hall. Get your wands at the ready for a Shpiel and Carnival the whole family will enjoy. Too old for games? Then help plan the event! Contact Rachel Brumberg, rbrumberg@emanuelnyc.org, for more information.

This event is free of charge for Emanu-El members and their guests; lunch is included.

Note: A special mini-carnival will be open for Young Families and Nursery School Families from 11:30 AM-12:00 PM.
