Iftar doors will open at 6:15, Food will be at 8:13. The theme is “Elevating Our Voices.” Kosher and Halal meal options will be served.
The following is from the Muslim Jewish Solidarity Committee:
We are so excited to be back at beautiful Temple Emanu-El to celebrate Ramadan together and share in spiritual reflection. We will demonstrate our love for each other and continuing building solidarity across communities…all over halal and kosher Iftar, of course!
This year we’ll come together as people of all faiths and identities to Elevate Our Voices. It’s important that we are the ones to create, share, and amplify our own stories. We call loud and clear for the end of hate and violence targeting our communities.
We’re excited to have Adam Gagan of Performing Arts Mosaic back as the evening’s MC.
Casey Donahue, The Moth
