Stitch’n Time Goes Virtual
On Sunday, November 14, our Stitch’n Time group packed 110 sets of scarves and hats for the Sunday Lunch Program!
One of Temple Emanu-El’s monthly Tikkun Olam programs, Stitch’n Time is open to all temple members who love to knit or crochet! In addition to sharing tips and tricks for their personal projects, participants work together to support the Temple Emanu-El Sunday Lunch Program by knitting warm scarves and caps and create beautiful items for children and other adults in need. Both experienced and novice knitters are invited to join, however, participation is limited to members of the congregation. Instruction is available for those who need assistance. Yarn and patterns are provided, but participants must bring their own needles (#8).
Although the group has been meeting virtually on Zoom, we’re so proud of all of their hard work and we hope they will be able to come together in person soon!
