he 54 voices of the internationally renowned University of Michigan Men’s Glee Club will perform a concert of choral pieces spanning from J.S. Bach and Salamone Rossi to Steven Stucky and Elizabeth Alexander. The event will be held in the Sanctuary (Fifth Avenue at 65th Street) on Thursday, May 7, 2009, at 8 PM.Founded in 1859, the University of Michigan Men’s Glee Club is one of the oldest collegiate choruses in the U.S. and is long acclaimed as one of the finest male choruses in the world.
