Hurricane Sandy Relief

In the aftermath of Hurricane Sandy, which hit in October 2012,
Temple Emanu-El’s Religious School established a special tzedakah collection
to help those in need.

Students and their families donated generously — raising more than $1,300, which in turn was donated to the Mayor’s Fund to support citywide relief efforts.
