Daniel has been described by The Boston Musical Intelligencer as a musician with “startling technique” and “a mature sense of interpretation.” In addition to being a Prize Winner of the 2014 New York International Piano Competition, he was a First Prize Winner of the 2013 Boston Symphony Orchestra Concerto Competition and a First Prize Winner at the Pro Arte Chamber Orchestra Concerto Competition in 2010. Daniel also is an avid chamber musician and was a semifinalist at the 2013 Fischoff National Chamber Music Competition with the Back Bay Trio.

Daniel believes in creating positive change in one’s community and, consequently, has raised funds and awareness for cancer treatment at the Dana Farber Cancer Institute in Boston by performing in concert through The Jimmy Fund. He attended the New England Conservatory Preparatory School and in 2013 was awarded the Seth Kimmelman Award for excellence in music performance. He was a piano student of Jonathan Bass and composition student of John Rodney Lister. He is currently pursuing studies at Harvard University in molecular and cellular biology and continues his piano studies with Professor Aleksander Korsantia at New England Conservatory.
