Saviv Taste of New York Shabbat

Temple members and nonmembers in their 20s and 30s are invited to join us for Shabbat services, followed by a festive oneg featuring favorite New York Jewish foods. Doors open at 7:15 PM.

Baby Shabbat

Admission is FREE.
Fifth Avenue Sanctuary

Baby Shabbat is a 30-minute program designed for younger siblings of Nursery School children, although all children younger than 12 months are welcome to attend. Enjoy the company of other families as we anticipate Shabbat with music, blessings and a taste of challah.

This spring marks the close of John Harrison Streicker's term as Temple Emanu-El president. We will celebrate and thank him at a special Sabbath service in his honor.

Shabbat Kodesh Service & Family Dinner

6 PM (Service) | 7 PM (Dinner)

$55 per family by May 14, $15 for teens
Fifth Avenue Sanctuary | I.M. Wise Hall

Timing and location for this service has changed to 6 PM in the Fifth Avenue Sanctuary and will feature joyful music led by Cantor Mo Glazman, Hadar Orshalimy and a three-piece band. We will celebrate our students who have earned Religious School With Honors and our Seventh Grade Mitzvah Messengers. After the service, Nursery School, Religious School, teen and alumni families are invited to a family dinner. Payment is required for dinner; early-bird pricing ends May 14.

Shavuot Services and Confirmation (5778)

Fifth Avenue Sanctuary

All are invited to Eve of Shavuot and Shavuot services. On May 20, we will celebrate with our high school students as they confirm Torah's place in their identity, followed by a Bagels and Blintzes Brunch (FREE for Religious School and Teen families, $18 for all other temple members and guests). May 20 also is a Yizkor service.
