After the Yom Kippur morning service, learn, study and reflect in one of the study sessions led by scholars of the temple. Participation is open to all congregants and their guests. Sessions are held from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM.

Rise and Fall of The Borscht Belt

Join the Temple Emanu-El Men's Club as they welcome special guest speaker Jack Godfrey to screen and discuss Peter Davis' 1986 documentary film, The Rise and Fall of the Borscht Belt. The film chronicles the rise and fall of the summer pilgrimage from New York City to the Catskills once made by 1 million people a year from the 1920s to the 1960s. Brunch will be served.

Annual Shabbat Dinner for Members of the Heritage Society

Members of the Heritage Society will gather for their annual Sabbath dinner following our 6 PM worship service. Membership in the Heritage Society is extended to all who have chosen to remember Temple Emanu-El through their estate plans and have advised us of their action. These testamentary gifts are expressions of the sacred bond linking generation to generation.
