The People vs. Noah: Pre-Trial Breakfast

All Religious School parents are invited to a pre-trial breakfast of coffee and bagels. Then, we will go together to witness "The People vs. Noah," as Temple Emanu-El's Streicker Center puts another biblical hero on the stand. Reservations are requested.

Tzedakah: Why Do We Give?

This program is for families of our third grade students. Attendance is free, but reservations are requested. Session will repeat on Monday the 29th at 4:00 PM

The Story of Prayer
Nov 11th - Nov 12th

This program will enable Fourth Grade Religious School families to think and talk about what it means to participate in regular Jewish prayer, to ask big questions, to engage in some "God Talk" and to connect to worship at Emanu-El. Parent-Teacher Curriculum Meetings will be included as part of this program. Session repeats on Monday the 12th at 4:00 PM.

6th Grade Trip to The Jewish Museum

Depart from 10 East 66th Street

Located on the Upper East Side, the Jewish Museum has a collection of 30,000 works of fine art, Judaica, antiquities, folk art and ceremonial objects, and it is a distinctive hub for art and Jewish culture. This trip is open to families of Sixth Grade students.

Emanu-El Chanukah Skating Party

Chanukah Family Worship and Dinner
Monday, Dec 3rd
5 PM (Service) 6 PM (Dinner)

$55 per family, $15 for teens
Fifth Avenue Sanctuary/One East 65th Street

Celebrate the Festival of Lights first by joining us at our 5 PM family worship service in the Fifth Avenue Sanctuary, where our magnificent chanukiyah will be lit. The festivities continue at 6 PM with dinner and activities. Dinner is for all temple families, their guests and members of our Community as Family (CAF) group. Payment for dinner must be received before the event.

One God With Many Names

This program will enable Fifth Grade Religious School families to explore how the names by which we call our God can reflect our beliefs and shape our community. Parent-Teacher Curriculum Meetings will be included as part of this program. Sunday's program will start at 9:30 AM; Monday's program will start at 4 PM.
