6th Grade Parent-Teacher Curriculum Meetings

After our challah baking workshops on October 14th and 15th, we will be holding our 6th grade Parent-Teacher Curriculum meetings as part of the program on these days. Meetings on the 15th will begin at 5:30 PM after the 4:00 challah baking workshop.

The People vs. Noah: Pre-Trial Breakfast

All Religious School parents are invited to a pre-trial breakfast of coffee and bagels. Then, we will go together to witness "The People vs. Noah," as Temple Emanu-El's Streicker Center puts another biblical hero on the stand. Reservations are requested.

The Story of Prayer

This program will enable Fourth Grade Religious School families to think and talk about what it means to participate in regular Jewish prayer, to ask big questions, to engage in some "God Talk" and to connect to worship at Emanu-El. Located on the Upper East Side, the Jewish Museum has a collection of 30,000 works of fine art, Judaica, antiquities, folk art and ceremonial objects, and it is a distinctive hub for art and Jewish culture. This trip is open to families of Sixth Grade students.
